Helio V1 Clone Review: The Worst

So I got this little guy a while back now. The Helio V1 is the one on the left in the Pic above, the one on the right is the V2.

I read the reviews on it before buying it – the reviews weren’t good, but for some reason I still felt the need to buy it. So I did.

When I received it, the first thing I realized was that the adjustable airflow right does not in fact work. So out of the box, there are literally no airholes at all. That should basically tell you everything you need to know about this piece.

I drilled out the middle airhole eventually. It works fine now, but nothing super special, and it looks kind of stupid where I drilled out the hole.

Stainless Steel. Unlike some other drippers in the price range, it is at least made of stainless steel.

Interchangeable parts. The top cap and deck are the same size as the IGO-W and IGO-L, so you can interchange all the pieces if you want.

Doesn’t work at all out of the box. You literally can’t use this at all out of the box until you drill out an airhole.

Looks stupid after you drill it out. Once you do drill out the airhole, it doesn’t look as cool.

Who Should Get One?

Pretty much nobody. I can’t think of a single reason you would want this.

Do I Use It?

Nope. This one pretty much just sits alone in my vape box doing nothing.

Where Can I Buy It?

Do not buy this under any circumstances. If you are curious or want to read more reviews, check them out here.

The Bottom Line

Quality. It’s stainless, so that’s a plus, but that’s about where it ends for me.

Performance. It works fine once you drill out the hole. About what you would expect from an IGO-L or W.

Ease of Use. If you like drilling a small hole into a piece of solid stainless steel, then this will be relatively easy for you to use.

Appearance. I actually bought this because I really liked the look and size of it. Unfortunately it is just not as cool once the hole is drilled out. At least not to me.

Price. It’s only around $5, but that $5 is much better spent on something else.

Obviously this one is just not even made correctly and doesn’t function out of the box, so there isn’t a lot good to say about it. Of course you can mod it up and get it working just fine, but I really don’t see the point for a simple dripper. Just get an IGO or a Nimbus and you’ll be much happier.

I have to tell you something. Your helios V1 and V2 are both clones. I know they are because they do not come in a box, they come in a case from VHO aka Vape Heads Origins. Another thing Helios attys do not cost $5, they are about $150. Helios atty’s are by far the hardest hitting atomizers. If you dont belive me, go onto facebook and search for the group called “VAPE FU”. We all on there have helios and other types of atty’s that we show the full potential of the atty’s mods and the mod’s themselves. Thank you for your time
