Naturally Extracted Tobacco: Big Spirit Tobacco Review


Today I’ve got Big Spirit – a naturally extracted cigarette tobacco from Naturally-Extracted-Tobacco. I got a fat 30ml bottle of this in 60/40 VG/PG at 18mg and I have been enjoying the hell out of it all week.

Here’s what NET says about Big Spirit:

A classic, all-natural, no-additive cigarette-style tobacco was used to make this e-Liquid. It is medium-bodied for a cigarette, dry and as close to smoking one as we have ever tried since we took up vaping! It has subtle black tea-like notes on a backdrop of cigarette tobacco.. Try it and see for yourself!

As of right now, this is probably one of my favorite tobacco vapes. I have to wonder if the name “Big Spirit” might have anything to do with the source of tobacco for this juice. When I quit smoking, my cigarette of choice was American Spirits, so it really makes me question if that is the source of the tobacco for this juice.

Either way, it’s a great vape. Dry, smooth, and perfect tobacco flavor. It is very similar to The Boss in overall flavor, however I find it a little more smokey/ashy tasting, which is really quite good and like the description says, it’s about the closest thing to a real live cig that I have found so far. Throat hit and vapor are both good on this one at 60/40.

The Bottom Line

Taste. I can’t say enough good things about the taste of this juice. It really is perfect for an all day vape because it is so smooth and balanced. When I get burned out on other more intense flavors, I can always come back to Big Spirit because I will never get tired of it. As a long time cig smoker, this is by far the best representation of a cigarette tobacco I have come across so far.

True to Description. I think they hit it spot on. I usually never give a perfect score on true to description, but they hit it out of the park with this one. You can buy with confidence that it is exactly what they say it is.

Throat Hit. At 40% PG, the throat hit on this is good, but I do think it could be better. I require a pretty hefty throat hit to keep me interested and this one does pass, but I wish it had just a little more balls.

Vapor. For 60% VG, I would say vapor is spot on for this one. No complaints at all.


Right now, this is a go-to juice for me. If you like other NET’s you will surely like this one. There’s nothing super special about it in terms of unique distinguishing flavors, but where this juice shines is just being flat out good. If you want a cig flavored vape, this is it. In fact, it’s probably far and away better tasting than an actual cig, so you get the best of both worlds. This is a great one to keep on hand for all around vaping. I would absolutely classify this as an all-day-vape as well.

If you’re into tobacco flavors, this is an absolute must try, and order a 30ml bottle with confidence.

    pffft, I really wanted to try this companies e-juice, I ordered 2/15/14. Still no package, they finally said they shipped and gave me a tracking number, sad to say that package said it went to Aiken, SC via USPS website 🙁 I have sent numerous emails and called before they took their phone number off the website and have received 0 communication from these people. Not certain what to do at this point beside open a ticket with my credit card company to try and get my money back

      Wow that’s terrible. I haven’t heard of anyone having problems ordering from them until now. I know they had their site closed down a couple months ago due to illness or something. Maybe they’ve been having trouble getting back on their feet. Either way, that is a pretty bad experience. I hope you can get it straightened out.

        Thanks Sam, It’s my first bad experience with any one ordering ejuice and I order a lot on the net. I would much rather have my order than the refund but feeling with out a choice, today I sent them a copy of the usps tracking # and told them if they cant communicate than to just refund my money 🙁

        Well it finally got here today! After going to Aiken SC and back 🙁 Will still probably never order from them just due to the fact that I could never make contact with any one 🙁

      I have/ had the same problem with them, ordered a sample pack to try them out…. it’s been “processing” forever. I finally sent them an email asking about it as their site SAYS 8-10 days to ship, got nothing back. Sent another a week and a half later, NOTHING. Finally had to have the credit card company pull the money back. At this point, if they cant ship when they say, wont respond to inquiries, how can I trust them as a company to want to inhale their product?

        Wow that is seriously terrible. Thanks for letting us all know. Too bad too, because they did make some pretty nice juice. I am going to see if they’ve been posting in the Natural Tobacco thread on ECF lately. I know they pop in there from time to time and I would like to get to the bottom of this.

        David, IMO good move, I was not impressed with any of their juice when it finally finally got here, it was very weak. Save your money and get it from somewhere else. Like I said this is the only company I’ve ever had an issue with 🙁

          Same here, I’ve done a bunch of online orders and this is the only company I’ve had problem with. I could understand getting back logged and needing some more time, but not to respond to an inquiry from a customer….. and one who’s told you they will pull the cash back. Very poor ethics there. I would ask you Sandra, or anyone else who would weigh in…. Have you found an “all natural” company like them who is good? By all natural I just mean one who uses real extracts or juices rather than man made flavorings…. Also, while I’m here…. I would like to encourage everyone to visit CASAA either on the web or on Facebook. I don’t speak for them, but with the FDA taking action on vaping/ecigs, I do feel we ALL need to stand together and make our voices heard or watch helplessly as we loose this to “our government”, big tobacco.

            David, you might want to check out Virgin Vapor. They are probably the most serious company I have found in terms of the ingredients they use in their juices. The only real problem is that they don’t seem to really specialize in tobacco, so you might still need to get your natural tobacco somewhere else. GoodEJuice has really good naturally extracted tobaccos, as does Heather’s Heavenly Vapes.

            Thank you, yes I have signed the petition and try to encourage what few vapor-ers I know to do the same. I have not had any luck finding an all natural tobacco flavored company. I fell in love with this cigar flavor “Git mo sweets” from Veteran Vapors but they went out of business and refused to say who bought their formula. I have also soaked snus packets in VG type of process but not to successful at finding the flavor I like 🙁 I will let you guys know if I find anything if you will do the same 🙂 I’ve also heard good things about GoodLife (a cigar flavor called El Camino) but have not tried them my self. I have to much stock at the moment to go though. The closest I’ve come is a Marlboro flavor from It’s called “Good Cat AM Red” I get it from their local store here but have not scene it on their website (I was curious about their web prices compared to brick and mortar prices)

        Same here.. first time ordering from them and it’s been over a month now and no ejuice as of yet. No phone number to call and emailed them 3 times and no response.

    I feel your pain Sandra I also ordered from them on 03/04/2014 and received nothing they took the money right away I have made several attempts to contact them e-mail and tried to call the number that is listed on their verification logo which says the number can’t be completed as dialed they could at least reply unless it is a scam I too will not order from them and post against them every chance I get LIVE AND LEARN?

      Stephen, I wouldn’t expect it for at least a month 🙁 I ordered on 2/15 and just now got it 04/03/14. If USPS wouldn’t have taken it to S.C. first I may have gotten it a few days sooner, not that that is saying much. I ordered two of their sampler packs (cigar and tobacco) and I am so not impressed. The flavors are very weak with no throat hit at all. I did like the 3 crown but even it is still weak. They did send another free small sample and a cute little bag but I didn’t like it either. For me it was a total waste of money, time, and aggravation. I would feel much better about a bad experience if I gotten some kind of communication from them but I to got 0 of that. I did read some one saying that they had a death in the family and that’s why things have been bad. I understand that but when you have a business, you have to deal with that to, even if it means hiring someone and loosing money.

      I had the same exact problem. After waiting 20 days and emailing them 3 times and calling 3 times (and cannot leave a message because their mailbox is full), I finally gave up today and filed a dispute with my credit card company. Even if you are having issues getting your product out, you can at least respond to your customers. Horrible customer service!

        I just got a ship notification. However, my credit card has already been refunded. If I do get the product I will probably just send it back. After numerous emails and calls I still got no response so if I do happen to get the product I’m afraid to use it under the circumstances.

      Maybe so, but I finally did get my order after over 3 months. I’m not sure if it was an actual company or individual or what (shipped from some dude named Clay Packard in Cedar Rapids, IA). But, I won’t order from them again.

    Kind of the same here, I didn’t get a shipping, but I just got the product. Funny part, I was expecting vape mail today, so when it came I didn’t even look at the label, just opened it, and couldn’t stop laughing! I did get the money refunded, and after all the emails and phone calls I sent asking for help…..can’t say I trust them enough to do anything but toss it all in the trash. On a more positive note, I got my Caravela 🙂 lol

    I just got mine yesterday. It took 3 months, 10 days – ridiculous. AND, I already got a refund from my credit card company a couple weeks ago. I was just going to send the juice back with a nasty note, but decided to try it. It’s not bad. It definitely has a tobacco taste to it. However, if you are looking for a genuine premium cigar taste, it falls short (3-crown). I probably would order from them again if they had any customer service (bad is an understatement), but in my opinion it’s not good enough to take a chance. Who knows if you will ever even receive the order.
