Ahlusion: Berry Shangri-La Tea Review

This is a review of Berry Shangri-La Tea by Ahlusion. Here’s what they say about it:

A blend of our berries, coconuts and oriental spices infused tea – definitely another flavorful signature Ahlusion vape. Add a touch of mint for an even more refreshing taste.

I’ve got this at 18mg, 100% VG.

First Impressions

I was extremely excited to try this when I first picked it up several months ago. Upon my first hit, I was overwhelmed by berry flavor to the point where I couldn’t take more than a couple puffs. I put this one back in my box, and there it sat up until this week.

I decided to bust it out again and give it another chance. I was absolutely astounded by how much better this juice was the second time around. It was not even close. The berry flavor is still there, but it no co-mingles with the other flavors of the tea. It has a very subtle coconut flavor – in fact, you probably wouldn’t know it was there if you didn’t read the description. It also has nice grassy notes that help cut through the powerful berry flavor. This is an EXTREMELY full flavored vape. The flavor is very thick and strong, but it is fitting for this vape and the all around experience is phenominal. Throat hit is very good for a 100% VG juice at 18mg, and the vapor it produces is second to none.

The Bottom Line

Taste. This is a hell of a juice after a little time steeping. The flavors are surprisingly complex and they constantly keep you guessing. It’s a great blend of sweetness with just the right amount of tart. I’ve been vaping it all week long and haven’t gotten tired of it at all, despite the very strong flavor. This is a totally unique flavored vape that is really very tasty.

True to Description. They hit the nail on the head. The only area I didn’t quite agree with was the “Oriental Spices”.  I didn’t really pick up any notes of spice at all in this vape. While I do taste the berry, coconut and tea, the spice is just not there – but that’s OK. There are plenty of other great flavors in this vape.

Throat Hit. It’s interesting because I thought Cha-Yen Orange Blossom at 90/10 hit a lot worse than this one at 100%, so whatever they did, this juice hits fantastically well for a 100% VG juice.

Quality of Vape. This is probably one of the highest quality vapes I have had in quite a while. It’s basically perfect in every sense. It has a great throat hit, it produces vapor just like a 100% VG juice should, and the flavor could not get any more full than it is – and it is laced with a variety of different notes that really bring the whole thing to life on your palate.

Overall. This is an extremely high quality vape. Anyone who likes berries on any level should try this one at least once. I would be hard pressed to imagine anyone not liking this juice. The key for me was letting it steep for a while. It really was not good right out of the bottle, but letting it sit for a while completely changed the dynamics of this juice and brought out all the flavors in perfect harmony. I would absolutely buy this one again, it is really an amazing vape.

Highly Recommended.
