Indigo Vapor: Kick Back Review

Indigo Vapor is one of my favorite vendors, and it’s been a while since I reviewed one of their juices. Today I’ve got Kickback. Here’s what they say about it:

Just like the name suggests… Kick back, relax, and enjoy this rich, and robust tobacco with a nice smokey touch to it.

I’ve got this one at 18mg in a 70% VG blend.

First Impressions

I had no idea what to really expect with this one, but Indigo is known for their quality tobacco juices, so I was more than excited to try it. This one tastes pretty good. In fact, it tastes almost EXACTLY like Legend from HHV.  In fact I have never had a tobacco taste so close to Legend, which is a pretty popular and unique vape in its own right, so that is no small feat.

The main difference for me was that this one has a slight bit of menthol at the end. Odd because they don’t mention that in the description. Me being not the biggest fan of menthol, found myself a little surprised by it, but it is quite subtle and actually mixes in with the rest of the vape pretty damn good.

It hits well at 18mg, and produces crazy vapor. Overall, a very tasty and well rounded vape.

The Bottom Line

Taste. It’s actually shocking how similar this is to legend. It is maybe just a slight bit more savory and a slight bit less sour,  but that actually worked pretty well for me. The main  difference of course is the menthol, and really, the menthol blends in near perfect in this vape and you hardly even notice it a lot of the time. This is an all around great tasting juice and a good representation of the kinds of tobaccos Indigo has to offer.

True to Description. The main thing I didn’t like was that they don’t mention at all that this juice contains menthol. For someone like me who doesn’t like it, that is a pretty big deal. Now luckily the menthol level still isn’t bad in this one, but that does kind of irk me. It also doesn’t have an overwhelming tobacco vibe to it – I mean it’s obvious this is a tobacco vape, but this is more along the lines of an HHV tobacco vape where it doesn’t necessarily taste like tobacco, but it has a rich brown palate to it that puts it in league with tobaccos. Overall, they were pretty close on this one.

Throat Hit. I’ve been running this in an Evod at 1.8 ohm and 20 watts and it hits absolutely amazing. Perfect at 18mg.

Quality of Vape. This is a rich and robust vape. The flavor is very full, rich and full of various notes to keep yourself busy with. It vapes very well throat hit and vapor wise, and doesn’t leave you wanting anything more. All around, this is a solid one.

Overall. I was actually really surprised by this one. I personally don’t think I would want it again with the menthol, even though the menthol wasn’t bad, and it is a little on the rich side for me. That said, this is really a nice quality juice, and as I already mentioned, it is a great representation of the types of tobaccos Indigo offers. This is definitely worth a check for the tobacco connoisseur, and it’s also great if you’re into menthol tobaccos.
