Bombies: Seven Seas Review

Bombies is an ejuice company that has been getting a lot of buzz lately. I decided I needed to check out what they had, so I waited until they were open last wednesday and ordered one of everything they had. First up this week is Seven Seas. Here’s what they say about it:

Seven different mixtures of fruits come together to leave your mouth gushing with delight.  On the exhale, you may encounter both a blend of sweet and sour!

I’ve got this one at 18mg in a house blend.

First Impressions

This juice has a very pale green color in the bottle and smells of fruit.

I had no idea what to expect with this one at all. I also didn’t read the description before I tried it, and after tasting it, I still didn’t know what it was supposed to be. It has kind of a familiar flavor to it – probably similar to some kind of candy or soda I’ve had at some point in my past, but I can’t quite put my finger on it. It’s very fruity and full flavored, however it doesn’t taste of any kind of fruit in particular to me.

It is hitting very well for me at 18mg and putting out a nice amount of vapor.

The Bottom Line

Taste. The taste of this juice isn’t bad – it’s light, fruity, and has a finish that almost has a faint menthol to it – but I don’t think it actually is menthol, I think it just feels like menthol. It really doesn’t taste like anything in particular to me – it’s just got kind of a generic candy/fruit flavor. It isn’t overly sweet, which makes it quite palatable for long term vaping. With all the buzz about Bombies, I don’t think this particular juice lived up to the hype for me taste-wise. It’s good, but not great.

True to Description. There really isn’t much of a description for this one, so it’s tough to say. It definitely is fruity, and the fruit flavor is so vague, that it makes sense they’ve mixed a bunch of fruits together to the point where you can’t distinguish between them in the vape. The “sour” they refer to on the exhale might be the slight menthol-ish feeling I’m getting. I can’t say for sure, but that would make sense, I guess.

Throat Hit. The throat hit is good at 18mg.

Quality of Vape. This one is OK for me. It vapes pretty well all around – the flavor is full, and well balanced. The throat hit is good, and vapor production is good. I don’t think the flavor is exemplary by any stretch, but it is definitely vapable.

Overall. I was a little disappointed with this juice. After hearing so many good things, I was bracing myself to be blown away once I started trying these, and this one is really very average to me. It definitely performs well, but the taste isn’t good enough to keep me coming back.

Not Recommended.
