ECBlend: Dragon’s Breath Review

After the first Dragon Series juice I tried won a juice battle, the second couple have been average at best. I’m hoping today we can get back on track with Dragon’s Breath.

Here’s what they say about it:

ECBlend’s Dragon’s Breath® – After-Dinner smooth and creamy flavors leave a lingering freshness and cooling sensation after vaping.  A special mixture of Mints blended into a Creamy version of our very popular Dragon Signature Series .  ”Oh! So Creamy!”®

I’ve got this one at 18mg in a 60/40 PG/VG blend.

First Impressions

This juice has a medium brown color and smells minty fresh in the bottle.

I didn’t realize right away that this one would be a mint vape, but as soon as I took a hit the mint hit me. It has a really refreshing taste to it – quite similar to an after dinner mint. It does vape a little bit dry, but the flavor is still quite full, and surprisingly satisfying. I can’t say mint vapes are my favorite, but this one has kept me interested all day long.

The Bottom Line

Taste. On the inhale I get the full force of the mint – in fact, I really don’t taste anything besides the mint. The exhale comes with a rush of chocolate flavor that has a creamy, smooth finish with more mint to top it off. All around, it is quite refreshing and pleasant to vape.

True to Description. I would say this is probably the closest vape I have tried to date to an actual after dinner mint. It vapes a little on the dry side – maybe I get that feeling from the mintyness, I’m not totally sure. It definitely has all the elements. The mint is in full force. The chocolate is there although it a milder chocolate flavor, and it doesn’t overpower the mint at all. I get a bit of creamyness from this one on the smooth exhale, but it isn’t super strong either.

Throat Hit. I’ve really been liking the throat hit on this one at 18mg in a 60% PG blend. I would have no problems ordering it just like this again.

Quality of Vape. This is really quite a nice, refreshing vape. The flavor isn’t super strong, but it actually works quite nicely in this juice. The elements are all there. While the mint is heavier and dominates the inhale, everything is really well balanced on the exhale and it has a super smooth finish. I was really satisfied with the throat hit and vapor production at this configuration.

Overall. This is a really solid juice. It’s not really an all-day-vape type of juice, but rather more of a situational juice. This would be great for chilling out after a nice big meal. While it’s not exactly my favorite flavor combination, I think they did a really nice job of putting everything together and staying true to description, and it’s been a nice change of pace for me.
