Roar Vapor: Hawaii Sunrise Review

I’ve had my fair share of tropical fruit vapes, but being that it’s a flavor I quite like, I’m always up for more! Today I’ve got Hawaii Sunrise from Roar Vapor. Here’s what they say about it:

Picture Hawaii, a tropical paradise. Sitting on the beach in the morning as the breeze rolls in from the ocean. No sounds except for the wind and the waves. The sun peeks at you over the horizon. We take all of that, add some tropical fruits, and bottle it up. Enjoy.

I’ve got it at 12mg in a 70/30 PG/VG blend.

First Impressions

This juice has a deep yellow color in the bottle and smells nice and tropical.

The flavor really knocked me back when I tried it – it is extremely full flavored, which for me is a good thing. The tropical notes carry through in a balanced way from start to finish resulting in a really delicious and well balanced vape.

At 12mg, it actually hits pretty well – maybe a tick below where I’d personally like it to be, but still pretty good. The vapor is actually really impressive for a lower VG blend.

The Bottom Line

Taste. The inhale and exhale are both fairly balanced, so there isn’t a lot of change from the front end to the back. It’s really just a very full-flavored tropical vape. The sweetness is there, but it’s not sweet to the point where you feel like you need to go brush your teeth after taking a few hits. I feel like there might be some banana in this one. They don’t really specify what fruits are all involved here, but I primarily get coconut and banana. It’s not a bad banana at all – many juices with even a trace of banana can get overwhelmed and it can get ugly really quick, but this one is quite nice as is.

True to Description. They were pretty much on track with this one. I wish they would have specified which flavors were in this juice, or at least some of them, but I have been keeping busy trying to figure it out as I vape. I mostly get banana and coconut, which do combine nicely in this juice to provide a very tropical tasting vape. I almost detect a little hint of rum as well – there’s a slight note of acidity that helps make the whole juice pop.

Throat Hit. This one is just a teeny bit below where I would like it to be at 12mg to be totally satisfying to me. Compared to other 12mg juices I have tried this week, Hawaii Sunrise has the upper-hand. It also produces a great amount of vapor considering the lower VG.

Quality of Vape. Probably the best thing about this vape is that the flavor is up front and in your face throughout. If you want a tropical vape, you are absolutely going to get it here. There is absolutely no lack of flavor, and it is very well balanced. The throat hit and vapor also do a good job of backing up the strong flavor with solid all around performance. I was quite surprised by just how good this one is!

Overall. There’s nothing super special about the flavor of this juice, it’s just plain good. As a tropical vape, this is probably one of the better ones I’ve had in terms of having great flavor and keeping the flavor strong and up front throughout the vape. The throat hit is nice, although I would likely buy it at 18mg if I were to get it again, and I am totally happy with the 70/30 blend. This is one of my favorites from Roar.
