Bombies: Tiger Style Review

Today I’ve got Tiger Style from Bombies. Here’s what they say about it:

A more mellow type vape.  These flavors blend so well together your taste buds will have a hard time picking out each individual fruit.

I’ve got it at 18mg in a house blend.

First Impressions

This juice is a tannish-yellow color and has a strong sweet/fruity smell to it in the bottle.

I was a little surprised that this one has a super strong cool factor to it. I guess by now I should have known that the picture of the popsicle on the bottle means it has cooler in it, but I didn’t put 2 and 2 together. At any rate, this juice basically tastes like a fruit jumble with an icy kick. The flavor is super rich and thick, although I can’t really pick out any individual fruit notes.

The Bottom Line

Taste. As with their other fruit medleys, this one really didn’t impress me too much. The closest thing I could compare this to is a red popsicle. It has a kind of a strawberry flavor to it, but a little more tartness than you would get with strawberry – probably more reminiscent of cherry. The fruit notes basically are all totally jumbled together and form a basic “red” flavor that I didn’t find to be particularly exciting or special in any way. It’s not bad, but it’s not that impressive.

True to Description. I guess they were pretty much on track with this based on the description. They did fail to mention the strong cool factor, and the only way you could know ahead of time is associating the picture of a tiger holding a popsicle with a blast of cool. I wasn’t able to make that connection myself, but maybe other people will be.

Throat Hit. Compared to their other juices, I didn’t think the throat hit was that great on this juice. At 18mg, it’s good enough to be vapable, but not much more.

Quality of Vape. The best thing about Bombies juices is that they are very full-flavored. The flavor is thick and will leave your mouth feeling wet and juicy. Unfortunately, I didn’t think the flavor itself was that great. It’s average at best. The coolness actually blends in pretty nicely and makes this a fairly well rounded vape, albeit a little boring. The performance is just ok with a moderate throat hit and pretty nice vapor production.

Overall. I’m not overly impressed with this one. In fact out of all their fruit vapes, I think this one is the worst. Other than the burst of cool, it really doesn’t have anything special about it and pretty much any vendor out there can add a cool burst to any of their juices to achieve a similar effect. This is pretty much a boring “red” flavor to me, and not a lot else.

Not Recommended.
