Twisted Cigs: Vanilla Cloud Review

After the infamous first custard battle a while back, I have taken somewhat of a hiatus from vaping vanilla. I finally decided to bring some back into the mix this week with Vanilla Cloud from Twisted Cigs. Here’s what they say about it:

A rich and hearty e-juice with a punch of custard cream vanilla.

I’ve got it at 24mg in a house blend.

First Impressions

This juice is a dark brown color, and smells of vanilla custard in the bottle.

I originally got a hold of this bottle as a possible entrant in the first Custard Battle, however they also passed along a bottle of their Mili Vanili, and after tasting both I found that the latter was more of a true custard, so I ended up leaving this one on the shelf for a while.

This week, I was looking for another juice to add to the weekly juice battle, and I was also looking for one to fill up the huge tank on my Fogger V4, that would be a safe choice without having really tried much, and Vanilla Cloud stuck out to me right away.

I’ve been vaping the hell out of this all week. First of all, my Fogger V4 is running like a machine with a simple dual coil setup clocking in at around 0.9 ohms. I’ve run this on both a DNA30 device, and a Panzer mech, which I am currently using right now.

I find that on a mech, at 0.9 ohms in the Fogger, this is just about one of the greatest overall vapes I have ever had.

The flavor of this juice is simply perfect. It’s got a very nice vanilla flavor. It has a lot of depth, but doesn’t taste like pure vanilla extract. The exhale definitely has custard notes that help give it a very rich and smooth finish.

At 24mg, this stuff hits beautifully. I wouldn’t say it’s the hardest hitting juice I’ve ever had, but it’s beyond good at 24mg – to the point where I would probably be comfortable trying it at 18. The vapor production is stellar.

The Bottom Line

Taste. Overall, this is one of the most delicious vapes I have tried in quite a long time. The vanilla flavor is strong, perfectly balanced, and tastes consistent throughout the vape. There’s no off-notes, no extra junk, just good solid vanilla. It has a depth of flavor that is well above the average vanilla, which I have had a lot of. It’s not quite to the point of tasting exactly like vanilla extract, but the depth of the vanilla brings it very close – yet keeps it reigned in so it stays smooth. The exhale has a very nice custard note that is just right – not super strong to the point where you know you are vaping a custard, but rather a subtle custard that helps round out the vape and make the finish a tad more rich.

True to Description. They hit it absolutely spot on. There’s nothing negative I can say about it, and nothing missing. This one is perfectly as-described.

Throat Hit. I can’t really give a 24mg juice a perfect throat hit rating, because generally almost any 24mg juice will have a pretty strong throat hit. That said, the throat hit on this juice is absolutely exactly where I like it to be. It has a hell of a kick, and you can vape this juice all day long and you will still be getting just as hard of a hit at the end of the day as you did when you took your first puff. I vaped this for about 10 hours straight yesterday and there is no doubt that the throat hit is spot on here.

Quality of Vape. This is exactly what I look for in a good quality vape. Delicious flavor. Full flavor. Consistency – it tastes exactly the same from start to finish. Hard and consistent throat hit. Vapor production is incredible in the Fogger. It tastes like it smells, the aftertaste tastes just like the juice, and even the cloud it leaves in the air smells just like the juice. There’s not much you can ask for that you don’t get with this juice.

Overall. I’m going to have a tough week in this week’s juice battle because I have tried several other excellent juices this week, yet this juice – as simple as it is, is so close to being 100% perfect, I’m going to have a hard time rating anything ahead of it. Additionally, I just can’t stop reaching for the stuff. Even with some other excellent juices to choose from this week, Vanilla Cloud is SO good that it seems to be the one I want to reach for the most.

I had 3 other people sample this one yesterday and they were also extremely impressed with it. I have long been considering Mountain Oak Vapor’s Vanilla Dream as my favorite vanilla vape overall, but frankly, I think this one might just be better. The smoothness of it gets me every time. I totally love this stuff, and I would definitely get it again.

Highly Recommended.
