Smokecignals: Salty Malty Review

Salty Malty – the name didn’t mean much to me at first but after taking a puff I quickly became intrigued. Here’s what they say about it:

This is a complex dessert/sweet flavor. It’s a salted caramel toffee with a little “malt” on the back end. Mellow enough to do all day, delicious enough to make you go back for seconds.

I’ve got it at 18mg in a house blend.

First Impressions

This juice has a yellowish-orange color and smells rich and buttery in the bottle.

This juice is packed with rich buttery caramel flavor. I find that it most tastes like caramel corn. While it’s a very rich vape, it’s not overbearing, which is great for extended vape sessions. The performance is solid across the board with a nice throat hit and very good vapor production.

The Bottom Line

Taste. I’ve found that this juice tastes VERY similar to caramel corn, particularly on the aftertaste. The inhale is fairly mild with just a touch of the Smokecignals “base” flavor. The exhale gets much more rich. I get notes of butter, caramel and a little salt. The aftertaste in particular tastes exactly like caramel corn to me. Rich, buttery, caramel and salt. Overall this is a really unique tasting vape that will be a hard one to put down.

True to Description. The only thing I didn’t get a ton of was the malt. I think the butter flavor is so strong that it probably mutes it out a bit and that is totally fine by me. Otherwise, I would say this one is pretty much exactly as-described.

Throat Hit. The throat hit is right about average for an 18mg juice. It’s not going to break any records but it’s perfectly satisfying and the kick keeps going regardless of how long you vape it. The vapor production is also exceptional.

Quality of Vape. Overall I think this is an amazing quality vape. The flavor is unique and absolutely delicious. Just like sitting down with a big bag of caramel corn, you’re going to have a hard time not helping yourself to a ton of it. The flavor is so good that I seriously have a hard time putting it down. The performance is equally good with a solid throat hit and thick, dense vapor production.

Overall. This is an exceptional juice. Not only is the flavor unique and original, it’s incredibly delicious and a difficult one to put down. I wouldn’t change a thing about it. I think this flavor would have a very broad appeal as there really aren’t any strong flavors and while it is quite rich, it still vapes fairly light so it doesn’t have that heavy feel a lot of rich juices do. This one is a must try for everyone.

Highly Recommended.
